Exclamation Can not edit - it is like the keyboard is unplugged!

Using Mac 2007 (Mac 10.7.5) and am unable to edit some spreadsheets. It is like the keyboard is unplugged - I can move from cell to cell with the mouse but not arrow keys. Spreadsheet is not locked. Not every time and not every spreadsheet but even opening a "new" sometimes will not allow me to edit!! HELP

    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

I honestly wish that was the case! I've found if I quit excel, sometimes I can edit after I re-open... Extra weird because it is sporadic
