    formula to lookup data

    I have an example sheet that was a google made translation of an excel sheet, however the array formula did not carry over correctly and I have no idea what to do.

    I have attached the excel version.

    the formula went from...

    {=IFERROR(INDEX(Database!B$2:B$20,SMALL(IF(Database!$A$2:$A$20=Overview!$B$1,ROW(INDIRECT("1:"&ROWS(Database!$A$2:$A$20))),""),ROW(A1))),"")}

    to

    =ARRAYFORMULA(IFERROR(INDEX(Database!B$2:B$20,SMALL(IF(Database!$A$2:$A$20=Overview!$B$1,ROW(INDIRECT("1:"&ROWS(Database!$A$2:$A$20))),""),ROW(A1))),""))

    You will need to upload and translate into google docs to match my current predicament. I believe it has something to with adjusting the logic in indirect function & row function. However I have no idea on how to do this.

    please help!

    Not really any experience with Google Docs ... But I Googled it and this was one of the threads returned:

    As I said, I'm no expert on Google Docs. I just Googled "use INDIRECT in formula in Google Docs"

    One that seems more relevant is: http://bdietzblog.blogspot.co.uk/200...eadsheets.html

    However, I suggest you do the Google yourself and see what is relevant to you.
