I have an Excel workbook developed on PC under Windows 7 Home / Excel 2010. On Mac under OS X / Excel 2011 it was briefly working fine once loaded, though a little balky loading (occasionally gave me an "Excel encountered an error and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience"). Now it consistently loads and everything works (macros run, calculations are all correct) on all tabs except one. Every time I change to the problem tab it gives the same "Excel encountered an error and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience" message. If I save the file on my PC from the problem tab it always produces the same error. I have a couple of controls (no ActiveX) on the tab - 4 radio buttons and a dropdown list. I deleted them as a test to see if that was causing the problem but it still yielded the same error. I've tried doing "Save As" a new file to see if that helps. It doesn't. I've transferred the file by both DropBox and memory stick, but that does not make a difference. I did not make any changes to the tab that is causing the problem between the time it was working and the time it started giving me headaches. There is no autoexec macro doing anything. It bombs when I click on the problem tab, or if I try to load the file after saving from the problem tab on my PC. No VBA code is executing at the time. Any help will be much appreciated.
