    Advanced autofill

I am looking for an advanced method of autofill which I'm not sure is possible. The reference data is in the EquipmentData sheet column C (from rows 3 on). I would like it so that when the user types into the text box ItemDescription on the NewItemMultiple userform it gives the user recommendations, based on what there typing, but I would like it to match text from anywhere within the sentance of data in each cell, not just the first word (since each G cell contains anywhere from 2 to 10 words).
For example if a C cell contains 'Autofill data test', then typing the word test should bring it up as a possible recommendation.

The UserForm or EquipmentData sheet column C cannot be found in your sample workbook.

    Re: Advanced autofill

Sorry, I just attached an updated sample workbook.
Also just thought (I don't know if it matters) but the reference data in the Equipment Data sheet will have a lot of duplicates.
    Thanks,
    James

    Re: Advanced autofill

Thank you dave, those last two codes work quicker.
Im getting a Run-Time 1004 error on the first one, saying:
A range is required. Select at least one cell within a range and try again.
It also seems to be changing things to the sheet thats currently viewed in the background. If the sheet in the background is the EquipmentData sheet then the error didn't come up, but no autofill/recommendations were coming up either (and the rows were disappearing as I typed).

I re attached my spreadsheet with the code.

Also I don't know if it helps but I already have a dynamic range for the C column on the EquipmentData sheet called EquipmentList.

    Re: Advanced autofill

    Ah,
I misinterpreted the question. I was filtering the sheet "EquipmentData ", as you type in the textbox

    Re: Advanced autofill

No worries, it looked like that was happening. Its ok for that to happen in the background, but ultimately I want it to display the possibilities as a autofill in the user form. Is this even possible?
