Hi! I am new to this forum and it looks like there are quite a number of very skilled participants. I am hoping to find the answer to the question below:
I am looking for a way to compare a number of different field values exported from my website's inventory list of a particular supplier's products. The supplier provides a daily update of their entire inventory list - approx. 10,000 items. Now my exported CSV file from the website of the inventory purchased from that supplier is approximately 1000 items. I buy only 1/10 of their available inventory.
I would like to remove all of the inventory (SKUs and their related fields) that I do not buy from the supplier's list and compare the changes in cost availability (discontinued for example) and quantity between the two lists. Would it be possible to produce a new sheet or file listing only the inventory from my site's list showing the changes for each inventory item between the two lists but removing the items that I do not buy from that supplier for the sake of comparison? I would like to then import only the updates / changes between the lists back into my database.
Is this possible and how can I accomplish this?
Does anyone have a template for this purpose? It would surely, be very appreciated!
My supplier sends an updated list daily of their complete inventory list in an excel file format but there are just too many items to compare and update manually.
Help!!
Thank you...
Regards,
Darrell
