I've been using Excel since the first Windows version rolled out, about Dec 1987. As a Boeing financial planning analyst, I'd been using Lotus 1-2-3, and liked it better than the early versions of Excel. But Boeing stopped supporting 1-2-3 in 1989, so I was stuck with Excel. Over the years, Excel got a lot better, and I became a power programmer in VBA for Excel, developing applications for myself and other Boeing finance analysts. I'm retired now, haven't done anything exciting with Excel in a dozen years. I just use it for personal stuff. Like a lot of folks, I was recently forced by Microsoft to switch from Windows XP to Windows 7, and I've run into some difficulties in Excel that don't seem to be addressed by the help functions. I'll try to find the right forum/thread here to ask a few questions.
