Hello and Thanks for all the Great Information you Provide

I have recently retired from a 40 year career in the telecommunications industry. I majored in Computer Science (did not finish school to earn a degree) so long ago my formal education was in languages such as Assembler and Fortran. While I held no formal programming job in my 40 years I spent a lot of time defining programming requirements for both small as well as large corporate programs. I grew up on Lotus 1-2-3 and obviously now Excel having always used spreadsheets as a significant part of my actual job duties to analyze data/trends. I am pretty proficient with Macros and Pivot Tables but now need to fully immerse myself into the VBA language in order to fully meet my client's requirements.

Now that I have retired, I have begun doing some development work for my son's company that is small enough they don't have a formal IT department. For the past 3 months I have been writing code to support regular reporting requirements for the Account Managers. With the help of John Walkenbach's Excel 2013 Power Programming with VBA and many many searches for help online I have succeeded in creating a program that greatly simplifies reporting duties for the client.

I am particularly appreciative of the many websites like Excel Forum where fundamental questions are submitted and answered and available for me and all the others that need help in solving a particular programming dilemma. My hope is that I can continue to find answers and when necessary be able to submit questions if a suitable answer is not readily available.
