    Old Guy - New Here

Greetings! Allow me to introduce myself.

I'm new to this forum, but not to Excel. I'm 70, recently retired as a mainframe programmer (PL/I, COBOL, etc). Got my first PC in 1986 (a Kaypro XT clone with 768K of RAM). Been playing with spreadsheets since Lotus 123. Never learned VB, but have done some fairly sophisticated in-cell formulae. Before Win95, used to write some pretty slick .BAT files. (See, a REALLY old dog!)

My handle (Attila the Pun) comes from my college fraternity (Beta Delta chapter of Phi Kappa Sigma, Michigan State University, Class of 1968), "awarded" to me in honor of a barbaric sense of humor.

I'll be popping in here when I run into a situation where I can't figger out the combination of functions to use to achieve a desired result.

Always willing to listen, and learn.

Glad to welcome you here, and ... not only listen, but also please play a bit with answering other's questions.
As for VBA - once you learned second (and may be third) programming language - using next one (I'm not saying mastering it ) is an easy task
    Best Regards,

    Kaper
