'Ello, Excel Wizards!

Greetings,

The time to join this bright community has finally arrived. I have been lurking every now and then for over a year now, but I figured that it is way more efficient to actively participate in order to advance my skills through contribution, wherever I can, and asking dazzling questions in the quest of becoming a truly proficient Excel user.

I first bumped into Excel and its vast applications about 3 years ago during a Finance-related internship where things escalated rather quickly and I suddenly realized that I was merely touching the surface by automatically extracting data from 300 Excel files. Ever since my occupation has been tightly related to proper application of Excel in order to smoothen the working process - first Investment Banking and currently Trading. Thus I am sure that I will find at least a handful of colleagues lurking in these forums.
