Just a quick introduction here.
My name is Marcus, I am originally from The Neterlands (born and raised) and currently married and living in Yogyakarta (Indonesia) since a couple years.
I love working with Excel since a long time and have been working on developing my skills throughout the years until I came to te conclusion not to long ago that I have to get a lot lot more knowledge. I am currenty at the edge of where I want to start using VBA together with my Excel sheets and I have honestly no clue how it works. It looks a lot like JS to me and that's not my best point.
Anyway, I am a financial consultant and mainly use Excel to collect and analyse data and transform them into information to those who are interested based on their needs (not mine). I have worked with several bookkeeping programs in the past and none of them are as powerfull (and flexible) as Excel to me. Unless you're willing to spend a few dimes for it.
I am currenty making the changeover from Excel 2007 to Excel 365. I have a trial contract now for Excel 365 Business Premium to see if it suits me enough. So far pro's and con's, definately not all pro's!
So here I am, ready to read and read and read and learn so much more about Excel.
