Excel learner, looking to learn VBA and Dash Board

    Hello,
I have been using Excel for about 25 years, I am over 50. Last two years only I started using Excel functions extensively and got hooked on to it. I am thinking of learning VBA and Dash Board. Two reasons for my desire to learn these two, one is it is interesting and second things is at my work, I have reached a saturation point in what I do, learning these tools may take me to another level in the job market , hoping to be a Financial Analyst at a senior level. I don't know if I am too old to learn VBA now but I want to give it a try and hope to get some feed back from all of you. I have a degree in Accounting and MBA from Dowling College, New York. I am working as a corporate collector for 15 years handling all major accounts.

    Thank you
    Muthus

Re: Excel learner, looking to learn VBA and Dash Board

    Hi Muthus,

    Age is just a number.
You may learn in some aspects a bit slower than "kids" but you got substantial background and general understanding of the field + own experiences.
So learning new tricks can be related to all your already possessed knowledge and skills, and thus could be more effective than in case of fresh graduate.

Greetings from another 50+ and also long time (since mid 80ties) spreadsheets user :-)
    Best Regards,

    Kaper
