Introducing ........ME

Good morning all -

I am, what I would consider, a competent, beginner. I utilize basic functions, etc. but don't do a lot of actual programming (use built in functions mostly). So, up front, please excuse the rudimentary questions. Also, I'd like to thank everyone for any and all assistance up front!!! More than you can imagine, it will be greatly appreciated.

Any way, a bit about me....I've lived on both coasts of the Continental US (Alaska - born there, and Delaware/PA - now reside), and have visited most states along the eastern coast thanks to college athletics. I am a former Track and Cross-country runner; was good, but lacked that 4th or 5th (along with the turbo boost) gear to contend at the upper echelon of the sports. I root for all Philadelphia sports, but appreciate excellence from any region. I even enjoy futbol, but can't make heads or tails of crickett...

I'm a new grandpa to the most beautiful little girl (no, I'm not biased at all)! And I'm looking forward to the spoiling and returning to the parents!
