    Hello from N'Awlins

I'm a retired person now, age 70, but until 2016 I worked as a contractor for the U.S. Navy where I was considered an MS Access "expert." Even was once an Access MVP for a year. I also was a System Administrator, certified for OpenVMS v8 and also had a Security+ certificate. I worked a lot in Access databases, with a lot of integration among Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook - all involving application objects and VBA. Never played much with PowerPoint VBA, mostly because my job didn't involve that many presentations.

I'm also a former semi-pro musician (organ, mostly) and a half-decent bridge player. (The other half is, yes, quite indecent.)

I came to this forum because I'm having such a WONDERFUL time with VBA programming of SmartArt functions. I posted something in the Excel VBA forum in hopes that someone will be able to point me in the right direction. Since this is an "intro" forum, I won't go into details here.
