Hello everyone at Excel Forum!
I found this site this week while searching for an answer to a problem.
An old thread clarified my issue. I realized what a great community and resource you have here.
Unfortunately I am not yet experienced with Excel. Previously I needed Excel for statistics doing a Masters degree so struggled through gritted teeth with the basics of that. Now I want to be more proficient with it to manage sales, inventory, product stock database, orders, customer data for an art related business venture.
Excel started off feeling like a complete pain, coming from more experience with Illustrator and Photoshop.
But I got hooked on ExcelsFun videos on YouTube, bought Mike Girvin's book "Slaying Excel Dragons" and slowly started swimming. I really enjoy his videos and exercise files to learn new things. But there is limited opportunity to ask specific questions or learn from other people's similar questions without being annoying in YouTube comment threads.
Because I still have my water wings I might not be able to help Excel Forum members much for a while.
While I'm still at the stage where I can't give as much as I take thank you very much to everyone who helps on this site with their knowledge and time.
