Need help to create date automatically in Excel

Hi All,
Firstly, thanks for taking time to read my thread.

I need to create an excel file with customer name and the date which customer name is added to excel file.
So I would like to add the date automatically when customer name is added, is there any way which can help me do that?

there is a vba solution and an iterative calculations one (i think you would need to change your settings to use this as per the link)
