I have always been able to get by with my limited understanding of Excel. I never needed anything more than spreadsheets and some fairly simple charts.
My new work position requires that I need to boost my knowledge of Excel. I have a few books that I am reading and a couple tutorial videos. I was able to pick up some cool stuff, but still have a long way to go.
Excel can be frustrating. But once you have a better understanding of how to get what you need out of, it is actually pleasant (or dare I say fun).
There is one specific task I need to sort out. I have been trying to use VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. But have not been able to make them do what I need. So I came here in hope to learn from those that are much more experienced than myself. I will make a post in the applicable section soon.
