    Hello

I am what I would call an advanced beginner for excel I make extensive use of it to look at data, but I lack the ability to use many of the advanced features. I have just started using Vlookup, Unique and other array type functions. I do make use of countifs and sumifs functions. I know there has to be cleaner ways of handling those functions. I do not use pivot tables, for some reason they are not my friend.

I currently have a workbook that I place data extracted from an Access Database I then process that data into multiple tables that allow me to see what is going on within my program. My data is currently 78 columns and over 4000 rows. The data grows at a rate of 10 to 20 rows a day. Every year I reset the workbook and start over adding data. The data represents results from product sampling at multiple location and testing those product for compliance to quality specification. My goal is to improve the look of the workbook and have more professional tables. I also looking to use excel to process spectral data at the moment, I am looking into how to take absorbance vs frequency data and generate the second derivative plot.
