Introduction

Pardon me for saying so but I've never been a part of such a pro-active forum.
Also, having to continually check I'm not a robot is becoming annoying.
I've been an Excel user since before 2000 when I bought 2000 Professional. I've largely mastered VBA, having written an interactive attorney billing program & many lesser aids in handling bulk data.
My reason for joining was to learn how to rename downloaded HTTP files. Thus far, I've not been able to find this out, tho I did find a post which had an appended example not able to be opened by me...yet.
