Hello to all from Tx, USA

Hi there Excel lovers and users,
I'm glad to become a member of this site; it's one of the few I've found which speaks in words I can generally understand, as I am a newbie to looking deeper into what Excel can do for me. I really enjoy learning each new layer of this very complicated piece of software and I know that even though my middle-aged interest will only scratch the surface of what others here have discovered, it makes no difference to me. I like seeing how the experts really make this program shine. I am totally self-taught, mostly by tinkering with the elements of it and have tried reading some literature about it. I admit that I know very little; I'll just state that I haven't found a book on excel that can deliver answers in a congruent way, but I definitely get the directness of forum threads where the comments stick to the point, and endure until either understanding or solutions are gained. Can't beat that for effectiveness and delight!!! Pondering ideas and figuring things out is nicely rewarding. Peace, out.

We could be... Cats are big on family... Til the milk
runs out. Thanks for the reply and info. I've looked at
some of his posts on excel to folks with a lot more understanding
of what can be done with excel. Way above my head. I'll look
for some of his earlier literature. Stay cool Mallycat.
