    Introduction to the group

    Hello Again,
I sought out an Excel Forum because I would like to learn about making it help me out with spreadsheet data relative to my job. I've about finished making my example file and am looking forward to seeing the responses. To be continued. rennicat

    Re: Introduction to the group

Thank you for responding. I posted today because I wanted to respond to the message telling me how many days have passed since I first joined the forum; the suggestion about introducing myself, because I have introduced myself. In fact I think that I did so immediately after I first logged in after receiving the email verification process. I'm not sure why I am unable to adequately remove that message. Twice I have tapped the referenced message box in order to carry on amicably with forum admin suggestions but I must be doing something incorrectly cuz the message after I log on still projects that I haven't introduced myself yet. I will endeavor to pick the newbie subforum for my first actual post. I am definitely a newbie to forum posting. If you can tell me what I can do to remove that 'no intro' message please help me out. Thanks again for responding. R

    Re: Introduction to the group

Well, when you post messages in this introduction sub-forum, it does not count towards the post count. So if you look at the left hand side of post no 3, you still show as having 0 posts to your name.

You can post any question that you have in any of the other sub-forums, or even help others by answering their questions. When your post count becomes 1, that message will disappear.

Also, i believe there is a "X" mark to the end of that message. If its there, you can click on that, though the idea of posting a question / answering another's question is better than clicking the X.
