Retrieve data from another Excel file to another computer Excel file?

Hello!

Would you please be so kind to show me how can I create a formula that will retrieve data from another Excel file to another computer Excel file?

For example:

Computer A and B are connected with a USB cable.

In Computer A, an Excel file named Data A, in Cell A11 contains a sum formula which adds Column A1 thru A10

In Computer B, an Excel file named Data B, in Cell B11 (the formula retrieves the data "cell A11" ) from computer A and inputs the data in Cell B11)

Simply put, how do you write that formula in Cell B11? Please note that both Excel files are not in the same computer.

If computer B see what is on computer A and has rights to use files there you can use PowerQuery with no problem

However, can it be done without PowerQuery? I have attached an image for your viewing to show you what I am trying to do.

The computers are networked. Just connected together by USB cable. The file A is saved on c: drive and in a folder called "Theory". Here's the entire path: C:\users\Hernandez\Desktop\Theory\File A.xls

If computer B doesn't see what is on computer A - you can't do that what you want

btw. this is not an Excel problem
