Windows Explorer Columns after doing a (Sub) Selection

Here is what the File Explorer window should look like after you do a selelection (It should format in column widths that accommodate the longest file title and this works find if you're displaying a list of all the files in the folder)

Here is what you get now after you "List" files from a selection:

I don't know what to do at this point except just complain. I spend so much money and time trying to deal with Microsoft that I'm beginning to think that we should start some kind of class action to get better support. There are little things from Excel 2007 that ought be looked into tht are still there in 2016. It feels to me as if there isn't any real interest (probably that should be read as "money") in low level users any more, so they are just stopping servicing us. The response when I have a 365 problem is get to talk to someone who will reinstall the 365 code with you (the instructions for reinstalling on the MS website aren't even correct about how to do it at this point), and if you don't know how you have to call in and go thru 2 levels of telephone to find someone who will look it up for you). There have been a couple of things that are really in the OS, but when you to talk to M/S, the answer you often get is "Go look it up on the web" - implying of course is that there isn't anybody there who knows anyway.
