Windows 11 - only apps may be pinned to the taskbar

    Windows 11 - only apps may be pinned to the taskbar

    Found that on a W11 machine I'm unable to pin files or shortcuts to the taskbar. Apparently this is intended behaviour.

    You can pin shortcuts to files to the app icon on the taskbar - I find that very useful. I right-click on the app icon for a list of pinned files.
