Delete a .pdf file created with XL2007

    Hi,

Thread header just about says it all.

I created a pdf file from within XL, which I can read with Adobe reader. However when I try to delete the file in Windows (Vista) explorer I get a 'Recycling 1 Item' window with a progress indicator which just goes on and on....and on. When I run out of patience since nothing seems to be happening and have to cancel the recycling window.

    Any thoughts gratefully accepted.

    Regards

    Hello Roy,

Thanks for reminding me about this. I never discovered why the problem occurred so I removed the Adobe Reader 9.0 and then downloaded and re-installed it. After which I had no problem deleting the file. Ho-hum.

Incidentally I'm obviously being a bit dim today but when editing the OP and going advanced I still can't see the 'Solved' drop down box.
