Windows 7 :dell optiplex 780 restarts when RAM upgrade.

Hello bros,

I upgrade 2GB ram in dell optiplex 780.

when I start my pc, it is not booting, it restarts automatically.

Please help me.

this not really a windows question boot up is before windows is loaded, have you checked you have the right ram and it is firmly seated?

sounds like the RAM has not been oput in the board correctly. or maybe the wrong RAM. I presum it starts up fine with the old RAM

Hey;

It's not an windows or any OS issue.

-You need to be sure about installing ram(s) correctly.

-Secondly if you are trying to install ddr3 rams mainboard may cause the problem because some of them can not be used with ddr3 rams.
