Hey guys,
I have a dataset which I want to save as .csv file to open it later with stata. To indicate decimal numbers, in this set commas are used instead of dots. Because stata gets confused with commas I need to convert all commas to dots- with find and replace- which usually works. But now it doesn't- no idea why not.
Does anyone of you has an idea?
Excel always puts "########" instead or puts a dot behind the whole decimal number. I already tried a lot- saving the data as standards, numbers, text etc.
(My Excel is German, so maybe it's called a bit different at yours- but all in all it should be the same I guess)
I would really much appreciate your help,
Julia
