Hello, I was using office 2010 until today. I am currently a College student so i get the new Microsoft for free so I ended up downloading it to my work computer. Im not 100% positive i Was allowed to do that so now i have a problem. Every time I export a workbook to excel it automatically opens in 2016 and im not able to access 2010. Is there any way to make 2010 default?
If not, I guess i have to go back to using only 2010 and is there a way to delete 2016?

Depending on where you work - no, that was probably not allowed lol.
Im sure there is a way through the Control Panel, but I only have 2016 installed (it took out my others when I installed 2016)
Another way is to go into File Explorer
find a .xlsx file
rt-click/Open With
Select the version you want (IF it is still there)
check Always Use This
1. Use code tags for VBA. [code] Your Code [/code] (or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Ya I just went ahead and uninstalled it unfortunately. It looked way too different than 2010.
