    Associating File Types

I am running Excel 2016 through an Office 365 subscription on a Windows 10 computer, I am attempting to open a .xltm file but don't have that file type associated with Excel, when I attempt to associate that extension I get to the stage where I am looking for Excel 16 on my C Drive but cannot locate it, any help would be appreciated.

    Re: Associating File Types

    In FileExplorer
Navigate to folder containing file with extension .xltm
Right_click on file \ click Open WITH \ click on Excel2016 OR (if not visible) MoreApps \ Then click on Excel 2016

    That should sort it forever!

    Re: Associating File Types

Click on Cortana and type in Excel. Right click on the excel that comes up in the menu and select open file location. On my Windows 7 System this is C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16. I have the same setup as you do at home, I'll confirm it there.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
