    Saving Person and their phone number

    I have a Workbook that I add a new sheet every week that requires me to add the same people's names and phone numbers to the new sheets.
    Is there a way to store a person's name and their associated phone number so I don't have to keep typing in their name?

    Hi zamboknee and welcome to the forum,

    You question sounds like you need to find the tool called Data Validation List. Using it you would click a dropdown and simply select the name from the last weeks sheet.

    I'm trying to do what the video tutorial is showing me (second link you provided) and I'm not seeing the 'Data Validation'option...

    Under my 'Data' heading...

    How do I change that setting so 'Data Validation' is available to me?

    I can see the very proper way to saving a person name and the phone number. so it really works.

    I should have mentioned initially that this was using the ONLINE version of Excel.
