Two Lines of Different Type?

I'm typing two lines in an Excel cell in Office 365. I would like each line of text to be a different type font such as Arial Black for the top line and perhaps regular Arial for the second line. Is this POSSIBLE to have two lines of two different type fonts within one cell? I cannot seem to find a solution to this.

Format the cell with the first font type. Type ALL of the text. Use Alt-Enter to force a new line. Select the text in the second line within the cell. Format the text with the second font type. Press Enter to commit. Done.

Thanks, Trevor but unfortunately that method doesn't work. If I try to change either line - top or bottom - with a different text font, BOTH lines change to that font, leaving me once again with both lines of the same font type. A real enigma.

After setting the CELL format, and entering all the text, you need to highlight JUST the text you want to show differently, and change that font
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

See the attached example. This is in Excel 2010 but formating has not changed, as far as I am aware.

Duncansville! (Right near my home town of Altoona.) And, thanks for the attachment, TMS. It's no trouble whatsoever in actually changing the type font in the Excel ("stand-alone") program, making the different lines of type just as you sent in your example. However, when trying this from OneDrive, it still won't allow the two different fonts; i.e., I change the bottom line (by highlighting only that line) and select a different font type, the font selection changes BOTH lines to the same font. If I select the top line, the same thing happens. Maybe this is the issue: For this cell block (which extends about 6" across the page), I DID merge several cells in order to achieved the long, rectangular box. Could THAT be the "culprit," not allowing any textual modification within a merged cell?

No, Merged cells is not the issue. See the updated example.

Can't imagine why OneDrive would be an issue.

I know . . . for the life of me I can't figure it out. I think I just make an image and insert it into the field; certainly shouldn't NEED to do it this way but at least I'll have the ability of making two lines using two different fonts. But, thanks for your help to all of you.
