Attaching a sample workbook enables others to work on your problem:

To attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and click "manage attachments" to open the upload window.

Re: vba hide /unhide columns based on the cell color

What are the criteria for hiding or unhiding a column? Please be specific.

What is the trigger for this action? Do you want to press a button, or do you want this to happen every time there is an update? Be aware that there is no VBA event that detects when a cell color changes, so it would have to check every time the selection changes.

What does "color in heater" mean?

I recommend you attach a sample file. The paper clip icon does not work for attachments. To attach a file, under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button. On the next screen scroll down and click on Manage Attachments, which will show a pop-up window to Select and Upload a file. Then close the window.
