    Building complex spreadsheet on Mac, for users of PC and Mac

    Hello, I have been working for a few weeks on a rather complex spreadsheet that includes Macros and some long formulas and heavy use of conditional formatting. I am a Mac user, but I intend this to be used by future customers, more of whom use PCs. I have a 365 subscription on both machines, but my PC is older and clunky and I don't use it often.

    I just checked my partially finished document on a PC and I can see it looks pretty bad. Font choices appear differently in size and quality, conditional formatting is not working correctly.

    Is this just not a workable route to build something complex on Mac? I don't even own a good PC but if I expect PC users to utilize this sheet, is there just no way I should build it on Mac?

    Hi, welcome to the forum.
    I'm not a MAC user but have sometimes helped people using a mac and have come across font issues (among other things).
    What I did notice (on my window machine) is that when I select a font that is used (in the file created on a mac) it sometimes displays the message 'selected font is not available on this system' that is one of the reasons, it works but the font size and resolution is messed up. If you choose a default font like times new roman or Arial it works better.
    I suggest you google Ron de Bruin Excel MAC vs windows and you'lle get a lot of information and tips about compatibility and so, much better that what I could explain here.
