    Excel File got Highly Corrupted

    Excel file got highly corrupted. I had done all the basic recovery things. Even tried some repair programs and online repairing tools. This is an important excel sheet of the financial*department. Kindly please help someone to repair my.xlsx file.

    Office version: Office 365 latest
    Saved Location: One drive

    I had tried all the steps mentioned in the website support.office(Repair a corrupted workbook).
    When I tried "=File Name!A1" it is showing "excel can't open one more links". Another method using macros, It is showing syntax error. I have tried some repair programs(not memorizing the name).**Also tried to open in*
    openoffice.org, It shows "#" symbols.*

    While renaming the file to another extension, it is showing blank. Tried all these nothing works.*

    There is absolutely no data in that file. It's just a long series of null characters.

    Thank you for your response.
    There is some data in that excel file, it was the notes of petty cash statement handled by finance. I will recheck and upload the file again.

    What Rory means is that it is damaged beyond repair - any data that was in the file has been erased during corruption.

    We are using one drive for file storage and auto save is on always; they saved it in one drive. Though the file got corrupted and all the data got erased. -AliGW
