Stock Price from 1 month, 3 months and 12 months Ago

    Hi Excel Forum,

I use Excel 365 and am aware of the capacity to place the current stock price, 52 week High and Low, which I use frequently and greatly appreciate. However, I need rows of data which also include the price of a stock (say, MSFT) from 30 days prior to today's price, 3 months prior to today's price and 12 months prior to today's price. Is this possible to obtain quickly and expeditiously?

The first worksheet in the attached workbook has two rows of information on two stocks, the price data of which was culled from Excel 365's current stock price function. Columns G and H are where I'd like the stock price from the prior 30 days and 90 days, respectively, to go. Each day, the price from the prior 30 days, 90 days and 12 months shall be updated. I haven't determined where the 12 month prior stock price shall go yet.

Can you please walk me through the steps? Thank you for any help. Am happy to pay whatever is considered fair for the capacity to have this data.

I posted on different board also, because this problem probably does not have a single solution, Excel 365 behaves differently than the non-365 version and it is not clear to me that what I require can be done in 365. Any solution will require extra cost and consultation fees, which I am happy to pay.

Thank you for your reply. I've added the worksheet with a brief description in the initial inquiry.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I'm open to using something that downloads a stream of quotes for a given stock symbol. The difficulty with applying this is twofold: I'll ultimately be examining rows of at least 100 to 150 separate stock symbols each day, and each day the prior 1 month, 3 month and 12 month will need to change by one day.

I posted on different board pertaining to VBA because this problem does not have a single solution, Excel 365 behaves differently than the non-365 version and it is not clear to me that what I require can be done in 365. Any solution will require extra cost and consultation fees, which I am happy to pay. I will addend my initial post, though.
