To prevent other users from viewing hidden worksheets, adding, moving, deleting, or hiding worksheets, and renaming worksheets, you can protect the structure of your Excel workbook with a password.
On the top ribbon, go to 'Review'. Select 'Protect Workbook' and make sure the 'Structure' is ticked (set a password if required, but be sure not to forget it).
The little " + " will still show, but the 'structure' of the workbook is protected.
