    Extract Data from one worksheet to another ONLY if condition is met

    I use Office 365. I have used Excel for years, but this one has me stumped. I have gone at it different ways and keep hanging up.

    Can you help?

    I'm trying to pull data from Sheet2, cells starting in D2 through F2 on down, and put it in Sheet1 starting in J6 through L6
    ONLY IF ADD is in column A in Sheet2

    I'm stuck.

    Hi juliewyatt75,
    Here is my solution. I had to add some "helpers" on sheet 2. You can hide these. There may be better solutions but this does work as long as you drag the formulas down at least as long as your data.

    I appreciate your help, but it isn't pulling the information with Add in column A on Sheet2.

    Squeaky, you have the correct solution but there is a typo in your formula:

    Change
    =@IF(Sheet2!$X1="","",INDEX(Sheet2!$D:$F,Sheet1!$X1,COLUMN()-9))
    To
    =@IF(Sheet2!$X1="","",INDEX(Sheet2!$D:$F,Sheet2!$X1,COLUMN()-9))

    It worked in that sample worksheet, but then when I tried it in my actual worksheet, I get a circular reference error. HELP

    Please upload a workbook or a representative cut down copy, anonymised if necessary. It is always easier to advise if we can see your request in its context.

    Here it is. The tabs on the right are what I got from the example sent back. Why is it that I use the same formula, it gives me a circular reference?
    Manual Tracking was Sheet1 and Widget was Sheet2.
