    Calculating Nr. of days from a ETA date

    Hi all,

    I would like to calculate Nr. of days from dates in Column A from today but when inserting in Column B1 the formula =TODAY()-A1 the answer returns as #VALUE!

    For example;

    Column A1 as 29-03-19

    Pls help.

    Probably because the dates are not valid dates.

    Can you post a sample workbook?

    Most probably your value in A1 is text looking like date instead of a real date. If so, it is left aligned in the cell ( without manual alignment)

    =TODAY()-E2 = 709
