Power Query connection only and extract values

Hello,

How can I connect to sharepoint list with connection only through Power Query and extract the values from a picker drop down?

When I do a connection only and then merge, the result will not show the values but rather[List] or null in the result set.

Can’t really post a workbook example since it’s a SharePoint connection.
But if you need more info let know and I will try to add some description.
Your help is appreciated.

Can you share an example at all. I don't really understand what you mean.

Sounds as if you just need to expand the list within power query to get your results

I figured it out.
When I first made the connection only I then extracted the values and saved.
I then would go in to do the merge and the values were not there.

So, I did it differently next time. I made the connection only and then close and load.
Then I went back into the connection and extracted the values and close and load again.
Then when I did the merge the values were there!
