I am trying to calculate an average daily temperature using a sensor ID (column B). I'm using the index/match function since my data comes from a separate sheet and the rows in which my data is presented may change from day to day. I am attempting to create a formula in cell D9 but keep gettin #N/A. Any suggestions?
Wouldn't a
=MAXIFS('Temp Network 1st Floor.xlsx'!$E:$E,'Temp Network 1st Floor.xlsx'!$B:$B,B9)
be preferable. Add in the relevant path to your Temp Workbook. Better still keep all the data in your daily average workbook.
