Auto advance to next slide after screen recording plays - powerpoint

Hi, I am not literate in Power Point. I am using Office 365 and have created a nine slide presentation. The presentation will be distributed as a video. I got that part. My problem is that when I run the slideshow it will not advance after slide 8 plays the screen recording. I've been to the transitions tab and according to the internet I should uncheck on click and put in 2 seconds. I did that. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? I can't attach the presentation as it is about 300 Mb.

Thank you for looking and any insights.

You mean it advances automatically for all the other slides, then gets stuck on slide 8?

I haven't done much of this but I believe you have to set up the timing for each slide, regardless of the recording. That is, if you want to advance after a 15-second recording finishes, you have to set the timing for that slide to 15 seconds. Have you done that for slide 8?

(I am also wondering how you managed to run a nine-slide presentation up to 300MB )

I've done all the animation and transitions settings I could google. The first seven all transition fine. #8 is an 11 minute screencast on how to do some excel stuff. #9 is a closing slide. It'll get to #8, the video will play and at the end it will stop and not go on to #9 without manual assistance.

It worked out. I exported the presentation as a video so my guys would be able to access it via my youtube channel. On the video the whole things run just fine. The screencast finished and jumped right to the closing after an 8 second pause.

So, the issue is moot even though I cannot get the presentation to actually do it's thing.
