Selectively merge cells keeping all data

    Hello All ,

Looking for a solution to merge cells selective and keep data from both, then shift the remaining rows cell to the left.
This process is to align data columns were some rows have different cell counts. Any (B) cells with an x need to be merged with (A) preserving data. All '0A' data needs to line up.

The intent is to post process RS485 hex data . The messages will have text descriptors that sometimes use two consecutive row cells. This causes the actual raw hex data to offset column data for that row.
I need the open frame values '0A' and subsequent data to column align.

Hello & Welcome to the Forum,

I suspect we could do this with concatenate, but could you please update your file with two tabs. A before and after and the why!

After doing some web searches, this seems to do the job. Not that tough just need to get more VBA under my belt.
