Issue with VBE Tools ..Options .. Editor Format

I have difficulty reading the vba code on my new laptop so I tried to change to a clearer font. It caused the laptop to close the Excel file. I worked out that it was probably because the font I first selected was unsuitable. It did not have "Western" at the end of the name. Now as soon as I click the Editor Format tab the Excel file immediately shuts down. This happens with any Excel file I try to open.

Is this a MS 365 reinstall to fix, or has anyone got another suggestion please?

Many thanks ProtonLeah. Not very confident changing the registry but I am in there and found the setting. However not sure how to make the change to the new font and don't want to poke about not knowing what I am doing. Can you advise which menu option to use please.
