    Re: DAX calculating percentage

    Hi,

ALL(Table1[Units]) doesn't make much sense here; ALL(Table1[Product]) would be correct, I believe.

    Re: DAX calculating percentage

    Apparently yes,
My thinking was dividing the Sales of each row by All the sales. But I was wrong.
    Thanks,

    Re: DAX calculating percentage

Sorry to bother you , but I've tried using 'remove filter' rather than 'all', I think this was recommended on sqlbi video,
but I've never been able to access this, it just doesn't appear on the intelligence drop down,
    Any ideas?

    Richard.

Perhaps you mean the function REMOVEFILTERS? This is available in Power BI, but not in Power Pivot.

    Re: DAX calculating percentage

    Ahh,
I'm usually in power pivot, as I'm more familiar with that environment.
After a gap of over ten years, I started using excel again nearly a year ago so still find bi a bit confusing especially as I'm old enough
to just about remember the 5 1/4 floppy disc.
    Problem solved.

    Richard.
