Calculate percentage by sub total regardless by different filter context

    Hi,
Have a table giving a percentage for each item on it's gvie category and it works fine

The problem is if I want to than change the filtered row (?) context I have to write a new or change the measure.
Is there a way of writing something that would respect the filter context regardless of what external filers are applied.
I've attached a small work book with two pivot tables each with a measure that works, so is there way of writing just one
measure that would work for both?

    Richard.

You should use subtotal and the correct option

    Hi Keebellah,
Well I ended up putting all the table colunmns in the all, which of course still presumes I know what might be filtered on. Not Ideal
but the best solutions I've come up with. if you'd like elaborate on your suggestion I'd be happy to read it.

Re: Calculate percentage by sub total regardless by different filter context

I just replaced the SUM formula with Subtotal average and anrther row with the subtotal sum which then only calculates the visible rows whne filtering
