Rather than remove your thread because you solved it yourself, you need to share that answer with members here - that is the WHOLE point of forums like this...to share ideas, suggestions and answers..
Here is your original post...

Hi
Can someone explain why I seem to be getting incorrect percentages in my pivot table.
I've made some very small tables and then worked out what I think I should get back,
I've attached these showing working out , so I could well have made an error there ?
I haven't formatted the numbers as percentages as I thought it might be due to rounding,
The two measure is question are Pcent Overall Sales and Overall M .
Richard.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Yes , but the results I was getting weren't incorrect, when I was checking one result manually to see if it was the same as what the pivot table was returning I was overlooking part of the calculation.
So I don't really have anything to share apart from the fact that I can't add up.

Then you should have said so.
In future do NOT remove any part of the thread - simply state what you have found and mark it as solved.
Thanks.
