    ALL Function Filtering returned values

    Hi,
This is a follow up to a question posed on Mr Excel,

Please Login or Register to view this content.
It's to do with the ALL function, and what it actually returns, for example

Please Login or Register to view this content.

Would return the correct result with all filters removed but

Please Login or Register to view this content.

Would return a sum of the distinct values again all filters removed. Another interesting thing

is that if you pout ALL(Table [Name] ) into DAX studio, you get a distinct table of values,
but if you pout ALL(Table) , you get the entire table even if there are duplicate , in the table attached
    you'll see there are two B 5 's.

Any help as to why this happens or reading suggestions welcome.
