DATESBETWEEN versus DATESIPERIOD

    DATESBETWEEN versus DATESIPERIOD

    Hi,
    I'd like some advice on DATESBETWEEN, I've been writing a rolling 7 day average using different methods,

    so first

    I thin used DATESINPERIOD ;

    Both of these behave the same giving a correct result for values available, but when i've tried 'between'

    it inserts' a value (54.41) for the 1/1/2020 which doesn't exist in the source data ,and then repeats this value for very row of the Calendar that doesn't have a value, I've attached workbook with two pivot tables showing the difference. Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong with Between or period for that matter.
