    Power Bi Running total that respects criteria in matrix

    Hello,
    I've attached a work book with a pivot table showing what I'd like to acheive in in power bi,
    just a running total by date but grouped by something, this works fine , the pivot table returns a running total for the grouping,
    but when I've used the same in a power bi matrix, I do get a running total but it's still looking just at the dates, so
    if I may a sale on 1/1/2020 in group A and the 2 /1/20202 in Group B it's only looking at the dates.
    How do I solve this? I've tried using DATESMTD and formula, do I have to introduce the grouping ?

    I have cross posted this with Stack overflow;
