Is there a way to write an AVERAGEX formula when there are duplicates, I know if you use a Measure so

wrapped in Calculate but that took me back to the initial problem, is there a way around this apart from adding a unique column to the source.
I've attached a workbook showing both formulas, and also correct results in Excel, also a table with a usique column, but I'd like to see i a formula can work.
