DAX Related table using a comparison operator

Hello,

I've created a simple table of order and ships dates and would like to count the rows that fall between a date in each.

to do this I created to further table just containing one column one row, start date and table 2 end date,

my ideas was to do somthing like ;


CountR = Count rows measure .

but instead of the 1 and 100, which I've just put in as had to put in something ,

I have attached the workbook with these.


but I hven't had any success, I don't think I can use RELATED after a comparison operator, but can't find anything about this,
I don't think I just dreamt it up. Can anyone help.
